Lead Grows to 827 Votes

Here’s the latest on the vote count.  Today our lead increased slightly to 827 votes out of 312,693 cast.  Our best estimate is that there are just under 55,000 votes remaining to be counted.  We currently have 50.13 percent of the vote; we will need 49.25 percent of the remaining ballots to win the election.  The good news is that a precinct-by-precinct analysis of the remaining ballots leads us to believe that the overwhelming majority is from Republican strongholds, but as they say, “It ain’t over till it’s over.”

    i am glad that you are ahead,it doesnt matter how close as long as you win.It seems that rp will have to regroup with the right people so we can get the support that is need in your behalf.We need you in the office of governor

    I am sorry Tom. If I had any idea it was going to be this close, then I would have voted absentee at my permanent address instead of in La Jolla.

    Incidentally, the only reason why that looney-tune Charlie Brown received as many votes as he did was because people thought they were voting for the Peanuts character.

    Best of luck from someone who spent the week before the election calling everyone he knows in the 4th, and telling them to vote McClintock.

    We need true fiscal conservatives like you in Washington to reshape the GOP!
